Christmas is always here. The year is almost over. This year has gone by fast. I can't wait untill Christmas. Santa Claus is coming. I think Christmas is kind of like Thanksgiving,your with your family and friends. But we get a longer vacation for Christmas. I like Christmas better than any other holiday except Halloween. :)

Whens The Turkey Bowl ?

The Turkey Bowl is going to be on the last day of school December 19,2008. It's been re-scheduled because the day it was supposed it rained. I think it should be called the Holiday bowl or Snow Bowl because Thanksgiving already passed. People thought that it was going to be cancelled. It has happened before. I'm glad it wasn't then we wouldn't be able to have one like other 8th graders before. I hope it doesn't rain on the 19th. :)

Sonic Boom!

Sonic Boom!

Yesterday here in California, a space shuttle landed in the NASA camp here. It was supossed to land in Florida but the weather was bad and they couldn't. They're going to put space shuttle on a jet to Florida. When the shuttle landed it made a sonic boom. It was really loud and scary. Many people heard in Southern California. I thought it was an earthquake but then i found out it wasn't. This happens when the shuttle can't land in Texas or Florida.

The Turkey Bowl is cancelled. It's cancelled because of the bad weather today. We are going to have it on another day. But then I dont know how it would be a Turkey Bowl. Last year this didn't happen. It was a sunny day at the Turkey Bowl last year. Well maybe this year we'll have a Hoilday or Christmas Bowl.

Twilight was so great. This movie is so amazing. I didn't think it was going to be this good. But whoa i was surprised. I went to go see it on Friday the 21st. There was alot of people there. The theater I was in was packed. Only the first row was empty. I love this movie. I'd probably see it again. You should go see it to, You wouldn't be wasting your money. (:

Thankgiving :)

I think thanskgiving is a cool day. A great day to send it with family and friends. This thanksgiving weekend is going to be from November 27 to Novmeber 30. I love eating ham not so much the turkey. I think the food is the best part of Thanksgiving. Also being with your family and giving thanks. So what are you doing this thanksgiving ? :)

Last night the Lakers played the Suns. Kobe Bryant played against his former team mate Shaquile O' Neal. The Lakers won with a score of 105 to 92. I think it was probably awkard for them. The Lakers are the best. It'll be scary it they had a another lost this season.

Here at Frost we have been having Dress for Success. Its a day when we can dress up like were going to interview. I think its a cool day. Girls can wear dresses,skirts, blouses but no jeans. Boys can wear suits,nice shirts, and still no jeans. I think its a good idea to have Dress for Success. It'll get us thinking about our future :)

On friday night, a fire started in Sylmar. It started at Vertans Park, with the winds at 60 mph the fire was carried on to the mountains. The fire was so big. I could see it right from my house. All the flames were so huge. Many people got evacuted and alot of people lost their homes. The firefighters calm down the fires on Saturday afternoon. Their is still smoke all around in Sylmar. ;(

Every year at Frost the 8th graders have a turkey bowl. :) Its always before thanksgiving. We have a game which is between USC and UCLA. Their are cheerleaders to. Its a football game. We also have hamburgers and hotdogs. You have to be on Grad to go. Its going to be funn. :) Its going to be from 10:32am to 12:32pm on November 26,2008. I cant wait. :)

I went to go see The Haunting of Molly Hartley. That movie was not scary. It was an interesting movie. I thought it was going to be a little scary. It would probably be scary for people who don't really watch scary movies. Well it's still a good movie. You should go see it while it's still in theaters. (;

Tomorrow we have no school. Do you know why ? It's Veteran's Day. It's a day to honor all the military veterans. Well that's why and I think its good not to have school because some people have celebrations. There are a lot of veterans in the United States and they celebrate this holiday all over the country. So remember no school tomorrow. (:

Our school, Frost has decided to send items and food to the troops in Iraq. I think this is such a great idea. They need things over there. My cousin is over there and he said that its pretty rough. I'm for sure going to send some things to the troops. They need all they can get. You can send anthing from can foods to hard candy and lollipops. Be a helping person and send something to our troops. :D

All eight graders here at frost can buy a class t-shirt or sweatshirt. The shirts are $7.00 and the sweatshirts are $27.00. I think all eight graders should buy at least a t-shirt. Its going to a memory you could keep. Most of us aren't going to the same schools and having a shirt will keep the memory of our friends. You could also wear any day of the week. So go and by one all you 8th graders. :)

Yesterday the president was choosen. Barrack Obama won. :) He got 349 electoral votes and McCain got 163 electoral votes. It didn't surprise me that Obama won. I thought he was going to win. History was made, Obama is going to be the first african-american president. This country needed a change and they got it. Hopefully he does all those things he said. The Country is going to be different staring January 15,2008.

I think people should vote no on proposition 8. I don't think its not right that they want to take the happiness away from people. It shouldn't matter who you marry as long as your happy. Well also teaching little kids about gay marriage isn't so good but I think they should know. There going to find out anyway. You might as well tell them now. So vote no on Prop 8 and let gay people be. :D

All Hallows Eve is my favorite day of the year. It's my favorite hoilday. I think its such a great day because you can be whatever you want. It's a day where you wont be judged for what you wear. Im going to be Superman. :) What are you going to be ? Tomorrow is going to be an exciting day. Halloween is the day I wait for all year.

Today Channel One announced who would win in their One Vote. The results were that McCain got 41% of the votes and Obama got 59%. All in all Obama won. I think now that Obama will win for sure. This shows most of the states really want Obama to be president. I'll be very surprised if on November 4Th McCain wins. Here in California, Obama got all the 55 electoral votes. I surely voted for him. I hope on November 4Th Obama wins. :)

I think race shouldn't matter into what colleges you get accepted to. You could be any race and be very intelligent. Being smart has doesn't matter. Everybody has different goals. I think if they reject someone cause of their race might ruin someones goal. I also think that they shouldn't give people special treatment cause of their race. Everybody should be treated equally.

Which President ?

I think that Obama should be the next president. He would be a good person. Even though I don't agree with his decisions of abortion. I still think he would be a good president. I think he'll make good decisions. Having a African-American president would be different. I think the country should have a little change. If I was 18 I would surely vote for Barrack Obama.
